Here's an interesting story of a encounter from a confederate solder being rescued from being mortally wounded. Is the story true, I do not know, but has some interesting civil war battle facts implied. Have a listen if interested, entertaining story and different from what we have heard from the battle fields of the American civil war. Where this story came from I also don't know.

Anyone else heard or know of these kind of episodes during the Southern or Northern theaters? Bet there's a few which have never been discussed because of the nature of such information.

Funny, Thanksgiving day my brother and wife were telling me about a show they have watched about searching for Big Foot. I've never seen or heard of the show, they watch way different stuff than I do. They claim he is here in West Virginia, but I have not yet seen him either. Thank you Tut

I read below the video and the poster said

'A letter, dated 1895, was recently made available to me by a local historian and writer. I was not allowed to make copies or remove the letter from his office. It was hard to read because the paper is old and the handwriting in those days, while beautiful, is difficult to read. However I was able to understand most of it in the short time I had possession of the letter. Here is the story.'

So the story is told from memory after reading a letter.

It's intriguing in the way it intertwines a CW narrative into a Big Foot story, and the fact it involves one of Forrest's men makes it even more so.

Once again, I really enjoyed it and it's nice every now and again to have something completely different to ponder on.

Glad yawl like it too, was worried I was going to get kicked off of CWT for posting something this weird. :bat:
I don't think that will ever happen ... weirdness is wonderful sometimes
