Civil war re-enactment

Alas I hail from central Nebraska..... territory. It will be 6 months at best before I am to bear arms. And that is as I travel post haste after the first thaw in spring. Hold tight and keep in sprits!

My event will be the first ever central New Jersey Civil War re-enactment. We will be re-enacting the Lawrence Massacre, one of my personal favorite battles. Now I know this battle took place in Lawrence Kansas not Lawrence NJ but I thought it could still work and be educational for all the k-12 schools that will be watching. I already have a group for the raiders, I'm still looking for some more confederate guerillas as well as unionists. Anyone who is interested in participating please check out that link in the first post and email me a response (or questions). All are welcome to join. And please spread the word of you don't mind. Thanks

Have you organized a Living History Event before?
Are you part of an organized reenacment group?
Are you a reenactor?
Do you have more than a cursory knowledge of the time period of 1861-1865?
Why are you advertising on Craigslist?
Is this bait? I think this is bait

First of all I know more about the civil war than you bucko roo! And I have organized many successful war re-enactment in my time! One was so realistic a man got ptsd! And I chose the Lawrence massacre because it is often forgotten but still happened. If I can't re-enact this what's the point of re-enacting any battle

Interesting response.

Just a guess, but I wouldn't plan on a mass turnout of CiviWarTalk's finest if I were you :whistling:

Honestly quite a poor trolling job. Try harder next time.
