This may have been mentioned before, but I found this cool site that would be good for children and students to better understand the Civil War. It has animations of all the major battles of the civil war and other wars. It shows troop movements, cannon placements, the importance of good ground, and descriptions and pictures of the battle and its commanders. Check it out.

Be wary of inaccuracies. In the Gettysburg animation they got one of Stuart's brigadiers wrong. That leaped out at me, but other things might not be so obvious.

First Manassas there are inaccuracies of the batteries of Rickett's and Griffin's Battery -- they are swapped.

Hunter/Portor's Brigade didn't march down Sudley Road -- they marched in the field near the Dogan's house then curved towards Sudley Road, crossing then up Henry's Hill.

But, I tend to think we're a bit more fussy than most. LOL

Respectfully submitted for consideration,
M. E. Wolf

Enjoyed the Atlanta Campaign thoroughly. A few minute errors, but nothing that would make it unworthy of secondary-level. Interested to see further additions as time goes on..
