After switching places about 20 times. We finally found a good place to go. We will be visiting Mobile Alabama and Pensacola Florida on Dec 26th thru the 29th. I have been only to magnolia cemetery in mobile but what other sites do people recommend for the area?

Don't miss visiting the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, which is located on the grounds of NAS Pensacola.

If you do visit the Aviation Museum, Ft Barrancas is near by . From Pensacola beach you also have Ft Pickens.

To get to Fort Barrancas and Barrancas National Cemetery, you have to go through the administrative office at Pensacola Naval Air Station first to get a day pass to get in. That can take 30 minutes to an hour. Get there early if you want to do that. Fort Barrancas opens at 9am. It is an NPS venue. You might check first to see if the Visitor Center is open.
