I do not like to post about cooking shows but last night on CNN they have an Anthony Bourdain show called "Parts Unknown".this was not your usual cooking show but he was exploring Charleston Food that was made before the Civil War.he went into Gullah cooking which was the food of the slaves and he fell in love with Charleston Gold which is a great rice but is rather expensive.the only restaurant that he did go to was the "Waffle House".that's a southern thing which I like but I hate that they charge you for each cup of coffee, no free refills.this show is really worth watching but the next time it is on you need to set your DVR because it is on at 2:00am. On Fri. Nov.27.

He use to have show on the cooking channel. We always watched it. He traveled the world and went to many interesting places and talked about the food and places to eat.

I didn't know he was on CNN now. That is a late time to watch.

That is really interesting.when we lived in south Florida hurricane Andrew came through and I know the Waffles Houses in Dade County were either closed or destroyed but just north in Browser county they were open as Browad didn't suffer severe power losses.
