NF Charles Ferguson Smith biography

Recently, I've been wondering a little 'what if' scenario of Charles Ferguson Smith living past his injuries. However, I realized I have little information beyond basic articles on the web. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some biographies of him I might find online or books about the man so I could expand my knowledge.

I thought it was good for the most part. On the other hand, it's really all I could find out there.

I second Andy's recommendation of Mesch. It's a solid biography, and pulls together a lot, like how he ended up demanding "unconditional surrender" at Fort Donelson.
