Ceder creek should I go?

If the LH is held in conjunction with the summer or fall battle, there will be a large contingent of reenactors and spectators and pretty good sized battle. I have been to 20-30 events at Cedar Creek and invariably, the battles tend to look and feel about the same, regardless of the battle being portrayed. It is a great to maneuver large groups and the terrain masks opposing sides except when marching or forming on the skyline. If you have never been, I would recommend going at least once. I prefer the fall event (which can be chilly) over the near 100' heat of the summer event.

I'm thinking about Ceder Creek also......

Though not related specifically to the annual reenactment, these threads give an idea of what there is to see at Cedar Creek:

This is the beautiful arena for the event, on part of the actual battlefield.
