Hi everyone!

Brand new recruit here, headed to the cedar creek reenactment this weekend in Northern Va. Does anyone know of some good sutlers that usually attend the event, and likewise, is anyone else attending?

We will be there. There is a good selection of suttlers who attend Cedar Creek. They run through the full range of low quality to good quality products.
It looks like the weather will be good, but cool on Saturday night. Keep warm and keep your powder dry.

There are a good number of sutlers there as it is one of the last big main-steam events of the year. Usually a pretty good turnout from a reenactor standpoint as well, and the weather is going to be great for wearing wool for a change. Keep in mind that the evenings and early mornings can get a tad bit chilly. Bought my greatcoat after my first Cedar Creek.

Will do! looking forward to getting some more stuff from the sutlers, pretty excited but my budget is a little low after the drive and all. What else is nice in the area? Any neat stores or monuments?
