Cassius M. Clay came up in the trivia game. I did not know very much about him and ran across this biography of him. He was very interesting and this is a good read so far...

I have found, the more I participate in the trivia game, the more I want to know - especially about those events and people that aren't so well known. He was definitely an interesting figure - and I have not see that picture of him. He eve looks like a lion. Every day we learn - is a good day.
 
Clay was an interesting figure. He gets some discussion in Freehling's The Road to Disunion, Vol. 1: Secessionists at Bay, 1776-1854.
