According to this site, Captain Hanchett did a Von Ryan type escape from the Cahaba, Alabama prison. However, not much is given about the details; where else could I found some information?

Wow! The article says he didn't escape at all, just beat up some guards before being arrested, still inside the camp! I guess the Von Ryan aspect of the Regimental History is incorrect?
