My Late Aunt, Rachel Rye, married an American Charles Booth and they lived in rural Georgia, during the mid 1980s - mid 1990s, two or three miles outside the village of Whigham which is in Grady County. Charles Booth was an Ex Navy Man who fought in the Pacific in WW2 and was a retired N.A.S.A. Official. He was born in Whigham, and grew up as part of a family of 5 children, 4 brothers & 1 sister during the depression years prior to WW2.
Being English myself with a keen interest in the ACW, I am just wanting to know if any of Charles Booth's ancestors might have been involved in the ACW. Can anyone help me in this search ??? TIA Rio

Shall I contact you here or via email?
