There is a seller on ebay right now that is selling civil war bullets embedded in wood. The seller has several of these for sale. Last year the seller had another lot of similar looking specimens. To me, they appear much different than any others I have seen Over he years. They are bullets that are just deep enough to leave the clearly identifiable minie rings visible from the surface and only slightly distorted. All this is to say they seem to be fabricated and not authentic. Would anyone care to provide their opinion? I am very curious, because they look too good to be true. If you search "civil war bullet wood" you can find several from this seller. (I am not including the seller's ebay name in case that is against forum rules) Thanks.
