Bucktails officers

Hello everybody, I was wondering if the officers of the 13th Pennsylvania Reserves (the "Bucktails") also wore the deer tail on their forage caps or if that decoration was strictly for enlisted men. Many thanks in advance.

Lieutenant Rice was an original volunteer of the "Bucktails" that organized in Smethport in April 1861. He was the son of Almon (1800 - 1878) and Almira (1813 - 1903) Rice, of Eldred.
