Books Coming Down The Pike - 2012

Here is a link to a blogspot (may know about) that has a list of upcoming titles in 2012 - (and helps for those special holidays when our loved ones say "I don't know what to get you?). Problem solved !!!

Pete, I'm not seeing the link yet.

There seems to be a never ending of things to write about the civil war. Do you think that there might be new information that could change what the facts are in regards to what would become the truth?:D
True - the scary thing is because of the sesquicentennial - there's going to be quite a few books coming out to cash in on the moment - tough thing is separating the wheat from the chaff

on an interesting note Amazon just cancelled my preorder of the fist petersburg book by bearss any idea what is going on there?

I read a lot of books that are set in the Civil War. Some non-fiction and some fiction. I appreciate the link! Right now I'm reading one that is fiction called Blue Asylum that I wasn't sure would have a lot of Civil War background in it, but it turned out to be pretty good.

SB is now showing a July sell date for Vol 1 and Aug for Vol 2. But nothing mentioned about secondary sellers.

Still waiting for Rheas last book on the Wilderness campaign....

Amen, Will - His whole set is considered THE FINAL WORD

Battle Of The Wilderness, The - May 5 - 6, 1964

Battles For Spotsylvania Court House & Road To Yellow Tavern

Cold Harbor - Grant & Lee - May 26 - June 3,1864

To The North Anna River - Grant & Lee - May 13 - 25,1864

on the campaign. Actually, I think Rhea is waiting for you to colorize the Overland Campaign photos to include in his book. What should I tell him :smug:

I am actually working on a few from the campaign...The sad part is that there really is a lack of images from the Wilderness.. There are some I've never seen before at the Army Carlise site, but you can't download them :frown:
If you could - give me a link to at least one of them - maybe I can work some magic
