NF Book recommendations on Confederate units

Dear Forum members!

I am a big fan of Clark's Histories of the Several Regiments and Battalions from North Carolina in the Great War, 1861-1865 and recently ordered all four volumes of Seigler's South Carolina's military organizations during the war between the states. Are there any good works providing comparable overviews on the other Confederate states (preferably including Militia and Reserve units)? Any recommendations are highly welcome!

Military History of Mississippi by Dunbar Rowland is the standard reference for Civil War regiments from the Magnolia State. The modern reprint by Grady Howell is the best version of this classic work by far. I agree with @Championhilz Ive always been interested in Mississippi history and their regiments. This is an excellent reference source and many of their leaders. The rerelease by H Grady Howell has a complete index for officers, company names and units by county.

Clark's Histories has a lot of material that makes for fun reading, but I doubt it is widely considered to be good history. Clark was commissioned to create the work by the State off North Carolina as an official act to celebrate and commemorate the state's Confederate veterans. Clark succeeded in this effort, but the quality of the history leaves a lot to be desired.
