A small corner of the Gettysburg Battlefield, tucked away near the amphitheater. This is where Sickles' reconnaissance ventured on July 2. The Third Maine and the First U.S. Sharpshooters were told to "feel" the enemy. How many bullets constitute "feeling" the enemy? I went on a Battlewalk dealing with this reconnaissance mission, n this area, with Caitlin Kostic a very knowledgable Ranger.
