Bennington, NH is right down the road from Antrim. I've been wanting to stop there for some time so I finally did. This monument is interesting because it clearly says it is put up by the Ladies Aid Society in 1902 and the G.A.R. I haven't seen other town monuments with the G.A.R. splashed about so much. So 40-years-after the war of those boys not coming home, they were still being missed....
