Benjamin J. Hill's Cavalry Brigade

In late 1864, Benjamin J. Hill was promoted to Brigadier General and raised a cavalry brigade but I am not sure of the composition of the brigade. There is not a lot in the ORs and what I have is at best a guess.

13th Alabama Cavalry Regiment, Col. William W. Lowe.
25th Alabama Cavalry Battalion (6 companies), Lieut. Col. Milus E. Johnston.
28th Tennessee Cavalry Regiment, Col. Jourdan Hays.
27th Tennessee Cavalry Battalion (6 companies), Lieut. Col. James E. Daniel.

I am sure about Lowe's Regiment and the 28th TN Cav from the sources on the Battle of Munford, AL Wikipedia page but the battalions I am not sure were part of Hill's Brigade.

William Jourdan Hayes died in Texas in 1882. See my "Confederate Colonels: A Biographical Register."
William Manning Lowe (1842-82) was colonel of the Burr-Tailed Regiment, but his highest verified rank was Lt. Colonel. He was elected to Congress postwar. He had been made prisoner a month prior to the action at Munford.
"William M. Lowe, Lieut. Col. of the so-called 13th Alabama Cavalry Regiment. As a resident of Hunstville, Lowe enlisted in Co. "I", 4th Alabama Regiment, received a wound at Manassas and a discharge on Dec. 9, 1861. By late 1863, he had begun to raise on irregular mounted command south of the Tennessee River, but was never authorized by the Secretary of War or any Confederate commander in Alabama. Lowe captured at Whitesburg AL, Mar. 11, 1865, he was released on oath at For Delaware, June 6, 1865, citing his command as the 13th Alabama Cavalry."
Milus Johnston was Lt. Col., but his battalion was often part of a regiment that Lemuel Mead tried to organize in North AL in 1865.
