Belt Buckle Relic Question

I have an old belt buckle. It has a big star on the front, and the back is stamped TA. Could this mean Texas Army? Anyone have any info on this?

I would scan a picture then post it on a blog or website, then link to the place you posted it. Or there may be a way to directly upload a scan to this site. Don't know that answer.

It seems that you have a replica Texas/Mississippi buckle that is often called a Texas. The T/O is the logo of a modern replica maker.
