This Netflix documentary describes the rivalry between two men seeking to portray Napoleon in the 200th anniversary reenactment of the Battle of Waterloo. It also follows reenactors, French, but also British, German, Swiss and others who portray the grunts in Napoleon's army.
It reflects the issues often discussed here at CWT, and I thought posters might be interested in it.
Great line, late at night, as exhausted and disgruntled sappers and grenadiers grab a drink, and hash over the chaos on the reenactment battlefield, noise, confusion, shouting, officers didn't know what they were doing, "Just like then" says one guy happily.
