Before & After: Imboden (head only)

I did a Before & After of General John Imboden about a year ago. I wasn't happy with his nose. Here is larger version of his head. I like his nose with this one.

That's a right nice picture of him, all cleaned up and with a nicely done nose. My problem, though, is I can't figure out his hairdo!

He was trying to look like McClellan but failed.

Nice work. Do you work all digitally? I painfully recall a time when we did all photo enhancement with an airbrush. But then, we also worked with film, developer, fixer, bromide papers, etc. Remember "setting hot-type" in lead; it was a big deal when cold type became prominent. Guess you can consider this post written by a dinosaur.
