Battlefield Bourbon

I think this is a pretty cool marketing concept. There's no doubt the concept has legs and the packaging is excellent. Has anyone tried the bourbon? Is it up to snuff?

In very small batches like this, I expect the distiller will have trouble keeping each year's release consistent with the last. Maybe that is not their intention.

This is not a new concept. Google Jarhead Wine and Waterloo Beer.

This was most likely bottled in 1945 and is not available today. The label carries the nick name (Jolly Rogers) and motif of the 90th Bomb Group.
