The photo below is from the link below. It states that is is Barlow's Knoll. It does not look like Barlow's Knoll to me. So is this Barlow's Knoll? If so, what is the view angle and what happened to the lunettes? If not Barlow's knoll, where was the photo taken?

I was thinking the same thing. It's definitely not Barlow's Knoll. Initially, I was thinking it may be Cemetery Hill looking towards Culp's Hill but I think that you are right that it is looking towards Cemetery Hill.

If it were Barlow's Knoll and the picture was taken after the battle, who would have left those guns in place? No one. Plus the only lunettes I'm aware of were on East Cemetery Hill. Need to find some modern pics to compare it with.

The 33rd Mass monument was placed there as the Gettysburg Battlefield did not own some of the lots farther to the north (right) at that time. Col. Underwood of the 33rd wanted it placed somewhere to the north, probably to better mark their position as to where they were when they helped repulse the evening attack of July 2. The monuments spaced along Wainwright Avenue are crowded together, probably reflecting the ownership of the lots at that time and not reflecting the exact positions of those regiments on July 2.

As far as I know, the flank markers for the 33rd are still in their original position. So, at least we can still observe the location of the regiment, despite the moving of the main monument.

Are the flank markers across the street by the wall or do they surround the new place of that monument? As I remember, they are across the street. Those flank markers perhaps mark where the regiment was when they moved to their right after the evening fight of July 2. They do not mark where they fought on July 2.

Late to the party, but I think it's Steven's Knoll, too. The dead tree in the background was on the line held by the 7th Wisconsin for the balance of the battle, after the IB withdrew from Seminary Ridge.

This is the only view I have taken from Stevens' Knoll looking toward East Cemetery Hill; my question concerning the original photo above is where's the Gatehouse?

You raise a good question. The gatehouse is in the original picture. Go to the link and click on the highest resolution image. Then zoom in and you will see it.
Thanks for the tip; I hadn't done that - it's still hard to see, but definitely seems to be there!
