I was badly injured on my last tour overseas and I'm still recovering from my wounds. I am looking at close to twelve months of recovery time and a couple of more operations.

While I have several research projects I want to finish, I have decided to steal a page from @bdtex and do some traveling.

I have no fixed time schedule.

I have no fixed itinerary.

What is your favorite restaurant and where is it located?

It has been two years since I had barbecue and I am in the mood for some.

There are some interesting folks on this forum and I would like to put a face to a user ID. If I come to your County or you are willing to meet me on a battlefield, I will buy you dinner and provide you with some stimulating conversation.

Vicksburg
New Orleans

Sounds like great trip. There are so many good places to eat. I guess in Ky. the home of barbecue is Owensboro.

Best to you for your future operations. Didn't know about your injuries. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

One of best barbecue restaurants is Moonlight BBQ in Owensboro, Ky. Thought just add.

You'll be in the shenandoa!!! Come meet me at Cedar creek Battlefield as I vollunteer there! There's some good BBQ in the area as well!
