Baltimore Antique Arms Show

Greetings All,
Joined last week to explore my new interest in CW Firearms. I thinking of heading down to this show this weekend from PA as a general education adventure to look at and learn about CW Firearms but specifically with in eye for a Burnside Carbine. Would folks here that have been say it's worth the trip for these purposes? Driving down from the Easton, PA area.

If it's your first time, by all means go!

1) I'd suggest 22/78W to 83S as to avoid I95 - particularly on Sunday afternoons.

2) See if you can get one of your buddies to ride shotgun, more fun than going alone.

3) Take some bottled water. The hall thinks they have a captive audience for food and drink, but there's a few decent diners [[My crowd favors THE NAUTILUS] out on the main drag (45/York Road) and you can re-enter the venue if your hand is stamped.

It's the biggest of all the shows, and it would be a challenge for you to do it thoroughly in a day if you are looking at the tables carefully for things you might want. You won't be disappointed, and you will likely see Burnsides for sale.

Welcome from the Fort Sumter and the Fredericksburg forums. By all means go if you can - I've not been to that one but the Dalton show I went to last year was great! Even if you don't buy anything you'll learn a lot just by going.
