Sauces/Gravy Bacon-Sauce

Ingredients:

2 oz. smoked bacon​
1 onion​
fine flour​
butter​
soup-stock​
vinegar​
salt & pepper​
cloves​

Instructions:

Cut two ounces of smoked bacon and an onion, into large pieces, brown some fine flour in a little butter, sweat the bacon and onion in it until it gets a colour, thin the sauce with soup-stock and vinegar, flavour it with salt, pepper, and cloves, and send it to the table rather thick.​
