There are too many great photos here to select one as superior to all the others.

But I voted for the photo of Mumma's Farm as a family tribute. My avatar, Lt. Ward of the 3rd NC Infantry Regt., was at Mumma's farmhouse on the morning of Sept. 17, 1862.
