I will be in Atlanta next week and intend on visiting New Hope Church one of those days due to family connections. Any advice on this particular visit? And, then what else should I do? Any tourist traps to avoid even though they may sound very appealing? Or must sees? I'll be there 19-22…

If you're gonna be in Hot 'Lanta, next week, go 20 minutes North on I75 and visit The Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield. Go to the museum and book store and then to see Cheatum Hill and what the Union had to face at the salient, there. I've read that Kennesaw has the most preserved earthworks of any NPS battlefield in the country.
