I spent the day retracing the movements of my fav 13th NJ Vol Reg yesterday with my researcher son Kennesaw Mountain>Pigeon Hill>Cheathams Hill & Dead Angle>Battle of Kolbs Farm>Battle of New Hope Church>Tour of their Cemetery>Cassville (Johnston's Entrenchments) and finally at Cassville's Confederate Cemetery. Enjoy the fruits of a LONG DAY> Sorry I could not get the pix to load in sequential order.

My wife's family was in the 2nd Tenn Cav, another in 44th Tenn Infantry, another in 12th AL inf and another in 22nd AL inf.

3rd Great Grandfather was along the two brother n laws in the 22nd … My Profile is Abner Ball one of the brother n laws he kia Dec 31 1862 at Murfreesboro … I have that pic of the 22nd framed
