Atlanta Campaign Map

Thanks for posting this. Folks comparing this map to a present day map in an attempt to correlate locations need to be aware that both Lake Lanier and Lake Allatoona were formed after World War II, thus forever altering being able to accurately reimagine some of the events involved in the Atlanta Campaign.
 
This is very cool. If you have a copy of Sam Watkins' Co. Aytch you can trace the progress shown on this map and get a Rebel's view of the battles.
 
The Atlanta History Center is running a short program on PBS television called "37 Weeks of Sherman".I tcoveers th whole Atlanta Campagn and the March to the Sea hence the title 37 weeks of sherman.They have aweb site that has th youtube broadcast and the script week by week.it is very entertaining as it is made to inform the general public not jusst the experts that we have here.the webaddress is:
