Apple Praline Cake

This was closest thing I could find on the web for another one my grandma used to make all the time -- at least this sounds like it comes closest (but we called it cake instead of bread and there was coconut flakes in the cake and the icing, and if pecans couldn't be found Grandma would use walnuts, and of course just apples from the apple tree, not fancy specific types of apples). Anyway, it was really, really good.
I never liked cake all that much as a kid, but this one was a big favorite...even better than pie (most of the time).

That looks really good. They got me with Granny Smith apples and sour cream. I don't bake generally but I think I could make that, especially with the great directions.

Of course, it can't compare with ham and blue cheese but pretty darn good never the less :D
