I recently decided to start a weekly thread about photography called "Tintype Tuesday", but I thought of another that I could do as well. It would be called "Fun Fact Friday". Every Friday I'll post one interesting fact regarding ACW, or non-ACW military history. What are your thoughts on this idea, and what forum should I post these on?

As someone who played trivia I would recommend you first try to talk with @hoosier. He was the gentleman who "graded" the answers (not an easy job) and more importantly he kept tally of everyone's points. I would recommend you carefully check into all the "ins and outs" on the requirements and make sure you will have the time to devote to this project. If you are up to the challenge and feel you can handle it, there will be many folks grateful for your efforts. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

Trivia was great but I know it was a ton of work for Ami and Hoosier. It was a daily thing on weekdays, relying on members to submit questions that were certainly challenging but had to have an accessible source for the answer. You had 24 hours to get the answer. Winners were declared every month and received some CWT swag if they were a first time winner. To win you had to get evert question right because somebody would.

Just a thought- could the game be changed to make it easier to manage? Maybe give people a week to find the answer. The first correct answer could be dubbed the winner, but that would give more folks a chance to play….

How it worked the answers were hidden until the time was up and the answer was announced so many could be scored with the correct answer. It could certainly be a weekly thing. There's one going now, the Where is it Wednesday in Gettysburg. It's done the same way, the answer and replies are shown on Saturday I think.

@Polloco . I need someone's opinion on this, ami responded to me saying she doesn't have time to do trivia. She said I could volunteer to run trivia. Do you think I should?
That my friend is something only you can answer. If I decided to do it I would not do it daily. I feel that would get old real quick if you tried it more than a few times each week. Don't go with one man's opinion, get several.Study posts 21+22 (among others). I feel there is alot of people here who would love to see the return of trivia. Also a thought, if Hoosier is available He would be a big help. And just remember if you decide to do some sort of trivia, it's going to be almost a full time job. There is a reason Ami decided against it.
