Hello. New to the Forum and just joined. I am trying to locate/research original source materials about Col. A.J. Grigsby of the 27th VA who resigned in a huff in November of 1862 when Jackson passed him over for command of the Stonewall Brigade. I have viewed the letters and records within his soldier's file at the National Archives, as well as secondary sources about his war record, his resignation, and his meeting with Jefferson Davis to complain about Jackson's treatment of him. Interested if anyone might know of archives, letters, sources, etc. about Grigsby and his issues with Jackson.

Unfortunately, other than the bare facts you have already mentioned I am unaware of additional material; welcome to the forums!
