I just heard the news on FB. He did a good job playing this role.

I saw "Glory" while on business trip to LA. My LA buddy got tickets to a premier showing for a theater in Century City, which came with a photo brochure. There audience was lively bunch.

A good actor -- sorry to hear about this loss. It's been a while since I saw Glory, but I seem to remember his character's getting some grief from Denzel's. He turned out to have grit, though.

Homicide was a very good show, and Braugher was excellent in it. I remember Homicide had a Civil War related episode where the descendant of a slave killed the descendant of the slave owner.

The detective played by John Polito in the first few seasons was obsessed with Booth and the Lincoln assassination.
