Ancestor Newspaper Interview

Here is a newspaper interview I found with my Civil War ancestor Daniel Vaughn. The interview comes from a 1907 Fort Worth, Texas newspaper. In the interview, Vaughn discusses his time serving as Confederate guerilla under William Quantrill and makes the claim of the latter somehow still being alive after his documented death in 1865. Does anybody else know of their ancestor being interviewed for a newspaper about their wartime experiences?

That is so cool! I have seen articles written by veterans and interviews with them. It seems the nation was pretty fascinated by the war in later years and old soldiers memories were popular copy.
