During my genealogy research I have seen lots of people named after George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Benjamin Franklin, and Robert Lee. I've seen a few Ulysses Grants, Abraham Lincolns, Woodrow Wilsons, Martin Van Burens, and even one James Buchanan. I have a direct ancestor named William Henry Harrison Miller.

But recently I came across one Clement Laird Vallandigham McConnell. Born 1863 in Ohio. I bet that was a fun name to live down.

Had an ancestor name Nimrod Lunsford. It is said he had 24 children. Twelve from his three wives he had during his life and the other twelve from here and there. No doubt he had many descendant who fought in the Civil War.
