I read about this a while back. If I remember correctly, the gentleman passed away a few days / weeks after the show from complications related to his fall at the hotel prior to the show. I can't find that info now, but I did not look very hard.

There is a prior thread entitled "Eyewitness to Lincoln's Assassination" in this forum from a year ago. The witness did die shortly after appearing on the show.
