Here is Colonel Ashby who led a Brigade of Confederate Cavalry there at Aiken. My gg Grandfather Monroe Cash served under him in the 5th TN Cav(McKenzie's). Ashby was well loved by his men. He was a first cousin to Turner Ashby.
