I need some help here. Somewhere, sometime back, there was a thread discussing movies. Someone mentioned "Stinking Creek." (I may have that title wrong.) It was about soldiers in the Wilderness getting together in the dark, only to find out when the dawn broke that they were fraternizing all night.

I'd like to buy this DVD or VCR if I could find it. So far, I've come up with nothing. Any help with correcting the name or where it might be available will be appreciated.

Wicked Spring (or Springs)?? I think might be what you mean.
Family Video at Manteno has it if you want to watch it.
Have read both great and very poor reviews. Might consider getting it myself this wkend.

Yep, Wicked Spring. I thought it was honest but didn't care for the ending. See for yourself.

"Stinking Creek"? Now that will stay in my head a while like an unwanted tune such as "Tie a Yellow Ribbon on the Old Oak Tree"

I thought the movie was OK for several reasons. 1)No actors to whom I've previously been exposed so no distracting thoughts of them in other roles 2)a dearth of WBTS movies so it supplied a want 3)pretty good music & costumes 4)Leisurely pace and easily understood action.

What I didn't like was possibly caused by less than prime hearing ability, but I do think the sound throughout was muffled or not equalized as well it should have been.

I think I've read that many of the same crew who made this movie are working on another WBTS movie.

Thanks everso, folks. Where did I get "Stinking Creek." I will immediately proceed along the lines of "Wicked Spring."

Thanks again,
Ole
