A view from the Bluff

[Chalmers' Division]

There is a construction project going on right in Memphis leaving Front Street wide open from old Wharf. I can only imagine what Federal troops would have seen as they had to make there way up the bluff from the river after June 6th, 1862. Obviously not the tall buildings, but the original skyline was represented by those littler ones.
