Here are some photos taken by Bradley Garnett using his father's camera/phone at Gettysburg's Devil's Den during our visit there this April. Fortunately (?), he had taken a course in creative photography and decided to experiment, giving us these somewhat "unusual" views; above, one of the few "conventional" shots.

@Bee , well you should be smitten with PA! Rocks R Us in this state, no?

Thanks James. Your friend is a wonderful photographer although good shots always flatten me because I'm terrible at it. These remind me how a relief worker spoke of men buried there. Those crevices? Fallen men couldn't be gotten out, burial parties forced to cover them with earth where they fell. Hope they were finally exhumed, haven't been able to find anything.

James, you take great photos. Thanks for sharing.

When visiting Gettysburg I always have my morning coffee here . Usually alone early in the morning , listening to the mockingbirds .

These are magnificent photos!!! I cannot believe they were taken with a phone and exhibited such crystal clear quality. The weather was also very cooperative with a beautiful sky. Thanks for sharing them. David.

No, remember these were taken by Bradley Garnett, 26-year-old son of Doug Garnett (@1863surgeon here on the forums), though it turns out that both the first and last pictured (overall view of Devil's Den and the Sniper's Nest) were taken by Doug himself from the window of his truck.
