A Request for Help

I have written a novel about what might have happened if Sherman's Special Field Orders No. 15 had been put into action. I need to find an image that I can adapt into cover art. Does anyone have or know about a color image of US Colored Troops that is either in the public domain or that I can buy a license for at a reasonable price? A re-enactment photo would be great.
