Organizers are putting the final touches on the event,website to open soon. Event dates are Sept.15-17 2017.
Overview of the event:
Friday 15th Living history at Harpersferry NBF in lower town area. Camping over night in same location,campaign style only. Cars will be parked in Sharpsburg area..
Saturday 16th Reveille at 0430 company formations at 0530. 0600 A.P.Hill March to Glory begins.
March will follow the same route and pace as Original. 50 min marching 10 min breaks. Appox distance is 17 miles.
Arriving at Antietam NBF camp will be behind the Dunkard church,again campaign style.
Sunday 17 Living history thru out the day and company firing demos for the public.
At this time we are looking at 5 companies to represent the 5 battalions under Gen Hill
Each company is capped is 40 men each.
