Interesting! As ever, was tooling around photos ( National Archives, the single most maddening site ever, ever on the planet albeit with amazing well, archives ), came across another one where our women of the era make an appearance. LOVE these because they're a little rare compared to men. I've also never see an apparent group of tourists ( ? ) making use of pontoon bridges constructed for war? Anyway, really liked this.
