Does anyone know of any reenactor of the 99th Pennsylvania Infantry?

I don't know of the top of my head. If you're on Facebook I'd take a look around. Most units seem to be more active there than traditional websites these days. Are you looking to join a unit?

Thanks. I don't find a group on FB. I'm researching some soldiers in the unit and am looking for any resources. Also, I'm getting VA tombstones for some who are in unmarked graves and each time we have a little dedication ceremony with an honor guard etc. It would be nice to have a representative reenactor(s) there although, of course, it isn't necessary that the reenactor be from the same unit.

Sounds like a great project, by all means let us know how it's going. I'm sure you can find some guys to help you out with it when the time comes.

Contact the nearest SUVCW AND American Legion post. Both would gladly put forward help in getting an honor guard.

Many of those SUVCW men are quite familiar with the units of their ancestors. You might find additional research.
