While in service as Lincoln's substitute, John Summerfield Staples served as a guard at what prison?

credit: @General Casey

Bonus: Sisters of Gettysburg

I was born in 1809. My sister was born in 1811. Our parents John and Hannah would be amazed that our Gettysburg family farms would become a part of American history. I was born first but lived until 1905. My younger sister died in 1893.

By 1863, my Farm included a two story stone house, barn, blacksmith and carpenter shops, an orchard of peach and pear trees, thirty acres of trees and appromiately eighteen acres of meadows.

My sister lost her husband in 1859. In 1861 she purchased a wooden two-room house. It had a small hayfield and several apple and peach trees, as well as a spring. Despite being small in size, my sisters home is more well known today than my larger home.

Both of our farms can be seen today. What is the names of these two Gettysburg sisters including our married and maiden names.

Main question: Prince Street Prison

Regular question:

John Summerfield Staples serves as guard in Prince Street Prison, Alexandria, the former Green's furniture factory.

"Staples proved more fortunate the second time around, while serving as Lincoln's recruit. He spent most of his time at Arlington as a clerk to the provost general and also as a guard at the Prince Street Prison. "

Answer to bonus question: Lydia Leister and Catherine Slyder - both maiden names Study

Franklin and Armfield Office
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Armfield sold the property to another slave trader in 1836, and it continued to be used as a slave trading site until Alexandria fell to Union Army forces early in the American Civil War.[6] The Union used the property to imprison Confederate soldiers.

Edit - While the Wikipedia article does say that the indicated property was used to imprison Confederate soldiers, it also says that the property was located on Duke Street in Alexandria, so the Prince Street Prison where Staples served must have been a different facility.
