Miniatures 6mm Wargaming

I've been wargaming 6mm miniatures these past couple months, i've done Second Manassas, Chickamagua, Shiloh, Sharpsburg, and currently Fredericksburg. I make custom boards for all of the battle maps. Ill be posting some pictures/videos here in the coming days.

First a couple pictures of the board i made for Sharpsburg. The bottom pictures color is off by quite a bit, top is more accurate to actual color.

That is impressive. What is the approximate (miles to the inch) scale?

1 inch is roughly 150 yards, the board is 6' x 4'

Here is one of the antietam playthroughs we did, i was the CSA vs two of my brothers (USA)

We use altar of freedom rules with our own house rules. Figures are Baccus 6mm.

My dad used to paint and wargame 25mm Napoleonics. He died when i was pretty young and i picked it up.

Sorry about your Dad. You and your brothers are carrying on the tradition well.
Generally, an advantage of 25 mm is greater figure detail; while that of 6 mm is larger battles - though anything is possible with a big enough table.
