George S. Greene (1801-1899), the under-appreciated hero of the Battle of Gettysburg. His younger son, Samuel D. Greene (1839-1884) served as Executive Officer and briefly commanded Monitor during the famous Battle of Hampton Roads, March 9, 1862.

Regular question:

That should be a photo of the home of the Widow Thompson, used by Robert E. Lee as his headquarters at Gettysburg. It is situated just north of the Chambersburg Pike, at the west end of town, on Seminary Ridge

"The stone Widow Mary Thompson house stands just north of the Chambersburg Pike at the west end of town, and is famed as the headquarters of Army of Northern Virginia commander General Robert E. Lee."

The clip from the question can be recognized as a part of the photo shown here:
"Gen. Lee made his headquarters at a stone house on Seminary Ridge along the Chambersburg Pike occupied by a 70 year-old widow, Mary Thompson."
