If it hadn't been, Pickett's rallying cry, "Never let them forget that today you are from Old Virginia" wouldn't have been quite so stirring. :wink:

  • All of Pickett's regiments were from Virginia. Pickett's Division was under Lt. General Longstreet, along with McLaws' Division and Hood's Division. McLaws' and Hood's regiments were from a mixture of Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi.
