I would say try your local gun shop, or go to event near you to see if someone is getting out of the hobby

Welcome from South Florida and the Reenactors Forum and welcome to the hobby. Muskets do come up for sale on here from time to time. Good ones at a good price get scooped up quickly. Keep an eye for guns for sale at Lodgewood.com they sell originals and new and used reproductions.

I have a couple of 3 band Enfields I used in my campaigning days, along with some leather gear and such. I'll check out the old warchest and let you know.
